Family Participation
Every Saturday morning, Liberty House and The Discovery Program unite to have Family Group. Friends, family, and all who want to show their support for their loved one’s sobriety are more than welcome to attend the group.
On Saturday's, Liberty House group focuses on the problems concerning members of the house and their families. Liberty House depends on families to participate and give feedback in the group.
Liberty House holds a 12 step Alanon meeting every Tuesday from 7:30-9:00 at the Westwood United Methodist Church on the corner of Wilshire and Warner in Los Angeles, California. This 12 step Alanon meeting was actually started in the living room of Liberty House, and has evolved in size to about 40 to 50 people each week. Every family member is encouraged to attend this 12 step Alanon meeting or another 12 step Alanon meeting closer to home. |
